The origin of Batik goes back more than 2000 years and is traditionally associated with the dying of cloth. Here at Tibetan Handicraft & Paper we have combined the natural textile-like qualities of Lokta and the wax method of Batik to create papers that when placed against the light have the look of translucent stained glass.
