Cleaning & pulping
The harvested Lokta bark is carefully cleaned to remove impurities, then soaked and beaten to create a fine pulp, preserving the natural fibers. -
Sheet formation and dyeing
The pulp is spread onto screens to form sheets, which are then dyed using eco-friendly, non-toxic dyes to achieve vibrant colors.Image credit
-
Printing and drying
Various traditional printing techniques are used to add intricate designs, followed by air drying to maintain the paper's texture and strength.Image credit
